Privacy policy

Skewcheck is run by SwynQ Labs Private Limited. There are no accounts, no advertising trackers, and we never see or store your card or UPI details. This page lists everything we do keep.
Who is responsible
SwynQ Labs Private Limited decides how this data is used (the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and the controller under the GDPR and UK GDPR). Contact details and the Grievance Officer are at the end of this page.
What we store, why, and for how long

Do not submit URLs that contain passwords, tokens or other secrets in the query string. Anyone with a report link can see the URL and the report.
Editor access to a client site
If you give us editor access to a site for Migration Repair, we use it only to add the redirects you approved and to read the settings that affect indexing. We do not copy, export or keep the site's content. When the final recheck is done we tell you, so you can remove our access; we do not keep logins or passwords.
What we do not store
For free checks, Reports and Studio, your name, phone number and payment details are collected by Razorpay at checkout and stay with Razorpay. We do not store your email address: we send your key to it once, and keep only a one-way fingerprint so we can find your keys when you ask us to email them again. Migration Repair is the exception: it runs over email, so we keep that correspondence as described above. When you recover a key with a payment ID, Skewcheck asks Razorpay for the email on that payment and compares it with the one you typed; it does not keep either. We do not log keys, emails or the URLs you check in application logs.
Analytics
We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Before anything is sent, report IDs and query strings are removed from the page address. Vercel identifies a visit with a hash of the request that it discards after 24 hours.
Cookies and browser storage
Skewcheck uses only what is needed for features you ask for, so there is no cookie banner. Nothing below is used for advertising or to follow you across other sites.

Who processes data for us
- Vercel Inc. hosts the site, serves every request (and keeps short-lived request logs that include IP addresses) and provides the analytics above.
- Upstash, Inc. runs the database that holds reports, keys and rate-limit counters.
- Resend, Inc. delivers the emails that carry your key, and keeps delivery logs under its own terms.
- GoDaddy Operating Company, LLC hosts the company mailboxes: support@swynq.com for support, and hello@swynq.com for Migration Repair.
- Razorpay Software Private Limited processes payments under its own privacy policy.
Vercel, Upstash, Resend and GoDaddy may process data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union, under their data processing terms. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.
Legal basis
We process data to provide the service you ask for and to perform the contract when you buy a key or a service; to protect the service from abuse (a legitimate interest); and to meet legal obligations, such as keeping payment records. Where the law requires consent, we ask for it first.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. If you are in the EU or UK you can also object to processing, ask for a copy in a portable form, and complain to your data protection authority. California residents have similar rights; we do not sell or share personal information. Email support@swynq.com from the address you paid with and include the Razorpay payment or subscription ID, so we can find the right records. We reply within 30 days.
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Keys are long and random, wrong-key attempts and other sensitive actions are rate-limited, secrets stay on the server, and access to production systems is limited to the people who run Skewcheck. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
Skewcheck is meant for people building websites and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Significant changes will also be noted on this page. See the terms of service for the rules of using Skewcheck.
Contact and Grievance Officer
Questions and complaints about privacy go to the Grievance Officer. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month.
