Terms of service

1. The service

Skewcheck fetches one public URL you submit, plus that site's robots.txt, as an anonymous visitor, checks without downloading them that its sitemap, share image and up to 12 of the page's own files load, and reports how the server delivers it. The score and every finding are free. A Report key unlocks the fixes for the audit it was bought for, up to four more pages on the same site, their re-checks, and a read-only client link. Re-checks, extra pages, new client links and print branding edits work for 30 days from purchase; the report and its client link stay readable for a year. A refund ends all of it, including the client link. A Studio subscription unlocks every audit and white-label printing while it is active. Other saved reports are kept for 30 days and then deleted.

We also sell Migration Repair, a one-time service for a site moving to a new platform or new URLs. We map every old URL that gets search traffic (typically 20 to 60; larger sites are quoted before payment) to its new page, import the redirects with access you give us or send you the import file, and check the old URLs live at launch and 7 days later. You approve the map and remain responsible for your site and its content. We do not promise rankings or traffic. By giving us access to a site, you confirm you are allowed to, for example as its owner or with the owner's permission. We only add or change the redirects in the map you approved. Keep your own backup or export before we start; our liability for the service is limited as in section 10.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit URLs to probe private networks, internal services or systems you are not allowed to reach;
• use Skewcheck to load-test, flood or attack any website, or to get around the rate limits;
• scrape, resell or rebrand the service itself, except printing white-label reports as Studio allows;
• share, sell or publish a key so that people who did not pay can use it;
• break the law, or anyone else's rights, while using Skewcheck.

Free audits are limited per network per hour. Studio audits are unlimited for normal use, with a fair-use ceiling per key per hour that only automated use reaches. We may block requests, rate-limit or deactivate keys used in breach of these rules.

3. Keys

There are no accounts. A key is shown once after payment and saved in your browser; anyone holding it can use it, so keep it private. You can recover a key with your Razorpay payment or subscription ID and the email or phone number used at checkout.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the site in Indian rupees for buyers in India and US dollars elsewhere, and you pay the amount shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Razorpay under its own terms; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. We may change prices for future purchases. A change never affects a payment already made, and a Studio price change applies only from a later billing cycle after notice.

5. Studio subscriptions

Studio renews every month and is charged automatically to the payment method you authorised, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time as described in the cancellation and refund policy. Access continues until the end of the paid month. If a renewal payment fails, Studio stops working until the payment goes through.

6. Refunds

Refunds are covered by the cancellation and refund policy, which is part of these terms. Delivery of keys and of Migration Repair is covered by the delivery policy.

7. What a report is, and is not

A report describes one public page at one moment. It is technical information to help you improve a site. It is not a security certification, a penetration test, legal advice or a guarantee that a site is secure, fast or compliant. You decide whether and how to apply any fix, and you should test changes before shipping them.

8. Intellectual property

Skewcheck, its software, check descriptions, fix guides and design belong to SwynQ Labs Private Limited. You may use, print and share the reports you generate, including with your clients. The sites you check remain yours or their owners'.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Skewcheck running but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, add or remove checks and features. If we ever shut down a paid feature, we will refund the unused part of any active Studio month and any Report bought in the previous 30 days.

10. Disclaimer and limit of liability

Skewcheck is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

11. Ending use

You may stop using Skewcheck at any time. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms. Sections 7, 8, 10 and 12 still apply after that.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally. Please email support@swynq.com first; most problems are solved fastest that way.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters for active Studio subscribers, we will tell them before it takes effect. Continuing to use Skewcheck after a change means you accept it.
